How It All Began

My love for storytelling began since i was a child. I grew up listening to my grandmother and my mother’s mesmerizing tales. These stories came alive during playtime in the compound or in the house, where my siblings and I would re-enact them with songs and dances. This magical blend of imagination and tradition laid the foundation for my passion for film.

From drama clubs in church, school, and university, I was always drawn to the stage and screen. But after graduating in 2015, life took a different turn. I left acting behind and stepped into the corporate world. For four years, I tried to find fulfilment in a path that wasn’t truly mine and I struggled.

A Turning Point

In 2019, I made a bold move to Lagos, determined to reconnect with my creative roots. Yet, it wasn’t until 2020 – the year COVID-19 brought the world to a standstill – that I found my way back to acting. The pause forced me to reflect on what truly mattered, and I realized once again why I fell in love with this craft. Acting isn’t just a career for me; it’s my purpose, my voice, and my way of connecting with the world.

The Grind Upwards

Since 2020, it’s been a journey of growth and discovery. From refining my skills at top film schools like EbonyLife Creative Academy and Royal Arts Creative Academy to producing and starring in my film Collide, I’ve been on a grind upwards. Every challenge and triumph has reaffirmed my commitment to telling stories that matter.
